After the funeral was over for Amara, we all headed to the clubhouse to have dinner. Sunny, River, Effie, and the rest of the ladies really outdid themselves. They worked together to put a big spread of food together for everyone. And after the day we had, it was nice to not have to worry about fixing a big dinner.
The next day, instead of heading to the hospital, my dads took me to my main office building. I had some work to do. When I first found out who Amara's mom was, I was also told about her stepdad and the fact that he worked for one of my companies. So I got to looking into him. I talked to the company's CFO about him and had him and the company lawyer give me a file on him.
