"I'm not sure why he wants to see me now," I admitted. "Maybe Sylvia said something to him? Or maybe he just doesn't trust me with the company and wants to size me up in person."
I'd thought about it from every angle.
If the Alpha Edmund was reaching out, it had to be about V&A Group. There was no other reason.
But Victor had warned me—the Alpha Edmund had a temper. He was difficult. Hard to please.
