Five Years Later… I’m humming as I take the steps up to the cottage that I share with my wife and my son. The last rays of the day are setting over the sea, bathing the cove in warm strands of orange and violet that hang in the sky along with the last of the marshmallow-like clouds. I smile as I set down my bag with today’s catch in the cooler and head out to the back porch, where I find Anastasia sitting on the porch with Alex in her arms. She looks so gorgeous and maternal, rocking back and forth in the chair I made for her. It’s still creaking on the back right side, and I make a mental note to give it a little TLC this week. Woodworking is just one of the skills I managed to learn after cutting back my hours at the firm. I had to after Anastasia gave birth. Needless to say, she said
