It was a long night with the baby girls. I might be old, but those little ones definitely keep me on my toes.
For breakfast, I made one of my specialties: eggs and roast beef hash. The truth is, I had leftover roast beef and needed to use it up. The girls don’t need to know that part.
The doorbell rang, and I went to see who it was. When I opened the door, it was no surprise; it was Jay.
“Jay, darling, come on in! Can I get you some eggs and roast beef hash?” I asked him.
Jay walked into the condo. It’s strange; at one point, he owned this condo, and I was his roommate. Now he has a beautiful house and a husband, while I have ownership of the condo.
