Mitzi
The little girls, Mia and Emma, were engrossed in a playful world of dolls when I stepped outside. Naturally, Aunt Mitzi couldn't resist joining, and before I knew it, I was being coaxed into giving them makeovers.
As I approached, I noticed an extra little girl among them—Corey’s daughter, Taylor.
“Who is this?” I asked the girls as I settled down on the grass beside them.
“Mimi, this is Taylor,” Emma replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
For some reason, little Emma can never quite manage to say Mitzi, so it always comes out as Mimi. It's an endearing quirk that never fails to make me smile.
“Hello, Miss Taylor! Let’s see what Aunt Mitzi has in her bag,” I said, pulling out one of my big powder brushes with a flourish.
“Me first!” Mia exclaimed, her excitement bubbli
