Silas laughed and shook his head, wrapping his cloak around his body. “Yes. I find the fact that this human should be so loyal to wolves who hold her kind hostage with false promises and the illusion of safety interesting. But then again, when have humans ever really seen what is right in front of them?”
Silas smirked before he disappeared into the white night. The wolves were tense when he left, and I had so many questions.
