When people started to show up, Christian and I went inside to stay out of sight until Santa was due to make his appearance at noon. I would go out with him and greet the kids, and then while he was talking to them, I would make my way around the property. And I was so excited and couldn't wait.
While Christian and I were walking around inside, we watched as some of the food competitions got their food set up and ready for judgment. We had a pie contest, a chili contest, a brownie, a cake, stews, a casserole, potpie, cookies, crisps, and drinks. It smelled so freaking good in here, and I couldn't wait to come back in later and try it all.
