113. What Love Isn't Susy I still feel a slight tremor throughout my body as I leave the house. The cool night air hits my face, and when I turn around, I see Alaric beside me with a thick blanket draped over his arm, ready to cover me. I don't need instructions: upon seeing him, he approaches and gently throws it over my shoulders. Despite the physical warmth, I still feel the cold inside. I never thought I would live through something like this. That someone I loved so much would become my worst tormentor.
