70. Accused Ryan It was one of the possibilities that had been circling in my head. Knowing Blake, I knew she wouldn’t stay quiet. Blaming me was one of the easiest and most cowardly ways to attack me, and of course she would do it. I expected it. From the top of the stairs, I see Michelle. She’s there, still, as if waiting for an explanation. But I have nothing more to say to her. Not now. I walk past, without stopping, with the firm stride of someone who has already made a decision.
