Still at Crestmoon Pack — Nightfall The estate had grown quieter after sunset. Torches flickered along the stone walls. Guards rotated shifts. Servants whispered instead of talking. Ever since the Alpha’s “death,” the entire estate felt like it was walking on thin ice. And tonight…Something felt off. Stefan had just stepped out of the war room when one of his most trusted scouts hurried toward him. The young warrior bowed quickly. “Beta Stefan.” Stefan immediately noticed his tense breathing. “What is it?” “My lord… Young Alpha Kaden—” Stefan’s eyes sharpened.“Yes?” “He ordered three personal guards to prepare travel packs. Horses too. Quietly.” “…Travel packs?” “Yes, Beta. They were told not to alert the pack. They’re leaving through the east gate.” Stefan’s voice dropped.
