Her jaw clenched, and something bitter flashed across her face before she covered it again. “Oh,” she said softly. “How sweet. He taught you to pretend you have teeth.” This time, the growl in the room was mine. Kara shoved against my skin, all claws and fury and old humiliation burning hot in my veins. “I’m going to show you my teeth, b***h,” she snarled through me. Her smile widened.
