Third Person POV — Crescent Moon - Ella and Owen Ella’s hands were shaking. She noticed because she couldn’t make them stop. Her fingers were clenched into the fabric of Owen’s hoodie, bunched tight in her fists like if she let go he would slide right out of her arms and disappear. Owen was crying — loud, hiccuping sobs that scraped the inside of her skull — and she couldn’t remember the last time he’d cried like this. Not like a tantrum. Not like a nightmare.
