As soon as I reach Calob's hospital room, I hear a feminine giggle coming from inside. I look at Dante with confusion, and he just shrugs. I give a couple of soft knocks and the giggle immediately quiets. A few seconds later, the door swings wide and a pretty young woman with long brown hair and hazel eyes smiles at me. I notice a slight blush on her cheeks when she greets me.
"Becca, this is my ex-wife, Briar. Briar, this is Becca the nurse that has been helping take excellent care of me," Calob says.
