The nap I was talking to got out of hand that I didn’t notice how long I’ve been asleep. I was only determined to opened up my eyes upon having a sudden feeling of someone’s presence with me.
I pushed my heavy lids to open and my body instantly jolted awake seeing Wade. He was sitting on his swivel chair with his arms folded as he watched me… probably sleeping?
My boss just caught me sleeping in working hours just right inside his office!
I could feel my face heating in embarrassment.
“I-I’m sorry. I apologize,” I mumbled, fixing my hair, tucking a couple of strands behind my ears.
“I didn’t mean to sleep. It was just,” I was caught off guard in finding my next words.
