I planned on visiting the Packhouse today to still convince Aiden into giving me a job inside the Packhouse. Well, although he was giving me money, I couldn’t depend on him my whole life. I need to earn on my own.
We are slowly getting back into our normal lives, hence I still felt how sad Evan and Zoey had become after Wade left. I was just hoping Aiden was right that they were just kids and would eventually forget about Wade as time passes by.
“It would be better if you work outside the Packhouse, Lily.”
“But it would be more convenient if I just have my job nearby our house. I can freely do my duties as a mother and still work. Doesn’t that sound convincing enough for you? I know you can give me a job here, Aiden. You just don’t want to.”
