Chapter 51: A Luna's Heart

1403 Words

Morning sunlight streamed through the tall windows of the dining hall as breakfast came to an end. The warm atmosphere remained, filled with quiet conversations and the occasional laughter of pups running between tables. Julia had never imagined that eating a simple breakfast could feel so... peaceful. No one whispered behind her back. No one looked at her with pity. No one reminded her that she was an Omega. Instead, every wolf who passed their table greeted her respectfully before continuing with their morning. It still felt unreal. Ryker noticed the small smile lingering on her lips and couldn't stop himself from smiling as well. "Our Luna is happy," his wolf purred contentedly. "I noticed." "She smiles more here." Ryker glanced at Julia again. "And I plan to keep it that way."
