Ebony and I walked into the backyard, where everyone was talking. As I tried to find my dad, my mom approached me. "There you are. Come on, Derek is planning on proposing to Rose," My mom said
"Mom, I need to talk to you and Dad about something real quick," I said
"Whatever it is can wait. Come on," My mom said, grabbing my hand and walking towards the table where Rose, Derek, my dad, Rose's brother, Rose's mom, Rose's dad, and Rose's grandma were sitting.
