"We shouldn't have let our Mate talk to them alone. What if they try to get her to reject us?" I said as I paced back and forth, waiting for my Mate.
"Calm down, Nathan. They are her parents, and we have to let them talk. I am sure they are worried because of the rumors about us," Ethan said. I didn't understand how he could stay calm in the situation we were in. About a minute later, the door opened, and my Mate walked out of her father's office with her parents by her side.
