The first thing I noticed was that whatever I was lying on was super soft and felt like a cloud. Shifting a bit, I suddenly feel warm, very warm, like I was lying on a blanket of coals. My lids slowly peeled open, but I squinted as soon as they opened. Its not that there was a blinding light or anything, not even sure why I did it.
I realized I was on my side and I was tucked up against something. Giving my eyes a minute to adjust, I noticed it was a body I was pressed agasint. I froze, slowly tipping my head up I saw it: Rafe. He was half sitting up with his back resting against the headboard. His eyes were closed as his chest rose and fell in slow, relaxed motion.
Oh god.
I squeeze my eyes shut again. Why was I lying in a bed with him, and why... What is that his arm? I
