She stared at me with her eyes wide open. I could see that she was trying to process it all. I could also see the doubt in them. I know she thinks she cant be mated to me, but she was, and I wasnt letting her go, not now that I found her. She was looking everywhere but at me.
Shifting so I was closer to her, taking her hands in mine, knowing my touch would help ease her a bit. "Poppy," I called her name, pulling her eyes back to me.
"I know this is a big thing I just dropped on you, and please believe me, this is not how I wanted to tell you.
