I was still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I had a mate, and it was the freaking Lycan prince at that. I mean, sure, if there was a chance, I would have a mate given I am half wolf, but I never really gave it a thought, seeing as I held more human traits in me than wolf. I knew of mates and how they find one another and all that comes with it, but I never put a lot of thought into it actually happening to me.
I've seen some of the mated pairs around the pack. I always thought they were sweet, seeing how they looked at one another and treated each other. I also know that human couples do not have the same outcome as wolves do with their mates. And I always thought if I did have a mate, it would not be the prince or Lycans. I mean, I Im not of high rank or standin
