Luna’s POV I wake up to something digging sharply into the side of my face. I scrunch up my eyes, groaning as I lift a hand to find my glasses already resting crookedly on my nose. S.hit, I feel asleep in them. A spike of panic pierces through my morning haze, my prescription is expensive. Please don’t be broken, please don’t be broken! I slowly peel my eyes open against the rays of morning light that are streaming through the gap in the curtains, carefully pulling the frames away from my face. Squinting through the blurriness at the lenses, I blow out a sharp, relieved breath when I find the plastic intact. Sliding them back on my face, I lay on my back, staring blankly at the ceiling.
