Ashton’s POV I head straight for the main gate. It is absolute chaos. A wall of reporters, photographers, and flashing camera lenses blocks my path, their faces twisted with predatory hunger. Between them and me, a lone security guard struggles violently against the crowd, his arms outstretched as he tries to move the surging mass back from the barrier to make room. Flashbulbs explode in front of my windshield, blinding me in rapid-fire bursts of harsh white light. I slow to a stop, nodding to the guard as he looks at me over his shoulder, worry and determination written across his face.
