I traveled across the thick snowy woods with my warriors who stayed loyal to me. My burning eyes now showed a clear purpose. My body felt strong again for the first time in many months.
The false bond was gone.
After hours of searching, I found the hidden camp. Beta Jude stepped out first, with his weapons ready. Sophia stood behind him. Her long blonde hair was tied back, and her moon-blue eyes watched me carefully.
"Alpha," Jude said, sounding careful.
I raised my hand to tell my men to stay back. I stepped forward to face Sophia. My chest rose and fell with heavy breaths.
"Sophia," I said, with deep regret. "I was wrong. Completely wrong. The Moon Goddess showed me the truth. My father made a dark bond that blinded me. Bianca was never my mate. You are."
