The pack was in that state of fear for the next several days. No one could sleep peacefully. The rogues launched an attack on Snow Hill. Many people believed Beta Jude had been kidnapped after his disappearance.
I executed my plan with perfect timing.
I sat on Jax's lap to whisper to him while he sat on his throne with a look of exhaustion and confusion.
"It must be Sophia and Beta Jude," I said softly. "They are working with the rogues. That's why Jude was so eager to help her after you rejected her. They want to take your power."
Jax frowned. "But Jude has always been loyal…"
I kissed his neck and stroked his chest. "Jealousy drives her to want to be Luna. They worked together to plan this attack. I'm sure of it."
