As if things hadn’t gone bad enough. Brett shows up, and he’s acting like he hates being here. He walked off like he couldn’t stand to be around me. What the hell is his problem? He owes my family more than he could ever repay. How hard was it for him to pay ten bucks for my food and take me home? Seriously, it’s like an hour out of his day.
