Kimberly’s POV
Seeing them so happy together almost made me physically sick. I set up on a nearby rooftop, as I knew I couldn’t get close enough to them to use my handgun. They spent a great deal on security. Some of them were former military, and meant business. If they could end me, they would. I'd followed them to the venue a few times. I watched them walk the gardens, and knew Emma wanted all the cute, special moments, near the flowers.
All I had to do was wait for them to show up. I wanted to take a second shot to finish him off, but security had leaped into action quicker than I thought they would. They were prepared and came out in droves. One of them knew where I was based on the angle of the shot.
