Kimberly’s POV
Noel really thinks that she’s smart; it’s almost laughable. She thought that because she was paying me, I was under her control. I let her think that, but I’ve been the one in control from the very start. I dropped off the car I borrowed in Jasper Falls at the mall. Then walked a mile away, before getting an uber to the bank.
Hotels are never great when they're willing to take cash to stay there. I’m using a fake ID to register my room. I don’t have money to burn. I needed to save what little savings I do have. The hotel I’m staying in doesn’t even have cameras, not even in the lobby. I’ve had a few run-ins with a few men who thought I would be an easy target. They quickly learned to leave me alone. I didn’t hold back when dealing with them.
