“Caden, I'd like to speak to you privately if I could. Maybe Emma can go with our parents and help Parker go back up to her room? That way neither of them will be alone,” Colton suggested.
I noticed Colton’s pointed glance over at me when he asked to speak privately to Caden. I knew what he was up to. They were trying to get rid of me so Colton could ask Caden a favor. I already had a suspicion about what their conversation was going to be about, and I wasn’t going to leave the room.
