I was on my bed, scrolling through my phone when it started ringing. I looked at the caller ID to see it was Maxim. I was still upset because of what Alexander had done earlier, so I decided to ignore the call.
I wasn’t in the mood to speak to anybody.
After waiting for the phone to stop ringing, I continued scrolling through my phone, doing nothing in particular. Maxim called me back and even if I didn’t respond, he kept calling multiple times.
I knew it wasn’t fair to ignore him. But I didn’t like speaking to people when I wasn’t in a good mood. Suddenly, I received a text from him.
[ Are you busy? Please pick up, I miss your voice.]
