Aria's POV
I stared at Claudia. "What did he do to you?"
She smiled wider. "He gave me power." Her aura expanded. The energy around her was almost suffocating. "Power beyond the limitations of wolfkind."
Lydia snarled. He must have given her some of his powers.
Claudia's eyes flashed as she continued. "He gave me the kind of power none of you would be able to comprehend."
I clenched my fists. "You're nothing but his weapon."
Her expression darkened. "And you're still his greatest obstacle."
She lifted her hand. A dark bolt shot toward me. I jumped aside. The stone behind me exploded. I rolled across the floor and came up on one knee.
Claudia was already there. Her claws slashed toward my face. I blocked them. The impact sent pain shooting through my arms. She was strong, far strong
