Aria's POV
I intercepted Claudia. Our bodies collided.
She snarled. "Get out of my way!"
"Not a chance."
She struck me across the face. My head snapped sideways, and I tasted blood.
Lydia roared inside my head. Fight her with your bloodline power, Aria. You can do this.
Claudia immediately used her dark powers to form a black, shimmering bubble around my brother, trapping him inside and suspending him in the air.
I glared at her. She smiled viciously.
"Let him go," I growled.
"Never," she snarled.
I released my bloodline power. Silver energy exploded from my body, slamming into Claudia's barrier with enough force to shake the entire cavern. Claudia staggered, and her unnatural aura flickered.
