Ethan didn’t shout. He didn’t need to. His presence spoke for him.
I on the other hand, watched in admiration as his authority and musculine energy oozed out.
The entire ballroom froze the moment his voice cut through the chaos that surrounded us.
“Who gave you the power to talk to her like that?” He said calm but dangerously. "Is she under your power? I can have you thrown out in seconds!" He said calmly yet audible.
He stepped forward and placed himself squarely between me and the accusing crowd. His hand settled into my hand firmly, I felt it's warmth and possessiveness.
