“So you didn’t forget us or your way home.” Theia was grinning as she came outside.
“I missed you, guys.” I hugged her tight. “How’s Ren?”
“He’s fine. And you?”
I shrugged. “I’ll live.” I walked towards Nora still standing in the doorway. “I’m sorry for—”
“It’s fine. Glad you’re okay. I’m just worried about you.” I was surprised by her actions. She hugged me, too.
I saw Ryden’s car and his bike, I supposed he was in the house, but didn’t want to see me. I swallowed, wanting my heart to stop beating so hard as I stepped inside the house.
