Andrei’s POV By the time the skirmish ended, I was dead on my feet—which was a far cry from the three warriors who had actually died during the battle, fighting bravely against vicious rogues whose bloodthirst seemed to outweigh their own desire for survival—but there was still far too much work to be done to take the time to rest.
