This week has been stressful, made more so by my frustration with Ellis and my father being in the pack hospital. I knew being away from Sloane would make it harder for me, but I also knew she needed to be in Alpha Waylon’s pack as much as I needed to be in mine, especially since her birthday is this weekend. I have every intention of going to her pack and staying with her the night of her birthday because I expect to be her mate. And since she effectively turns eighteen tomorrow night, or now it’s later tonight, I plan to spend the night with her tonight as well so Marrok and I will know, without a doubt, that she’s ours.
