Benny’s POV I wake up to an unexpectedly empty bed. Eralia’s side is already cold to the touch, and a sharp spike of panic surges through me at her absence. I bolt upright, my eyes darting around the room, searching for any sign of my woman, but finding none. I swing my legs over the edge of the bed, my chest tight as I snatch up the discarded sweatpants that I kicked off after my late night walk with Pippa a few hours ago and pull them on. Straightening up, I head toward the bedroom door and pull it open with a little more force than necessary.
