Lee's POV
Spence had been staying with us for about a week when I started noticing the pattern. Chloe would go into my old room in the morning, and come out about an hour later all disheveled and go straight to the shower.
Not long after, my wife would go into his room, shut and lock the door, and remain in there for an hour or more before coming back out, freshly showered. I tried questioning her about it indirectly, but she was very dismissive.
“Why are you showering in his room?” I asked.
"I'm used to that shower. I like it. He said I can use it.” she said. It just seemed odd, but I pushed it out of my mind at first and told myself that I was being paranoid. Janice and I never had s*x, so there was no way she was cheating on me.
