Within five minutes of Chloe sneaking out, I was joined by my beautiful stepmother.
“Spence! How are you? I mean, besides the arms.” she said, giving me a hug as soon as she saw me.
“I’m doing well, glad to be around loved ones. I just got done catching up with Chloe.” I said.
“That’s good. I’m sure she’ll help you out with anything you need while I’m not around.”
