After I told Patrick about what happened in the hotel room with Celeste, the rest of the ride was awkward.
Maybe I shouldn’t have told him about it.
But I was hurt and annoyed. I just wanted to blame someone else for what was happening in my life.
I could see how devastated Patrick was just from his eyes. If he could take back everything he had done, I knew he would do it in the twinkle of an eye.
