H A I L E Y My body had a cold chill that has refused to leave my bones since the paramedics wheeled Dominic away. I press my back against the wall, my arms wrapped tightly around myself, a flimsy shield against a world that has suddenly become cold. My dress, a beautiful silk gown I'd chosen with such care hours ago, feels like a costume for a tragedy I was never meant to be in.
