H A I L E Y Dominic let out a long, shaky breath, his shoulders slumping in defeat. He looked at me, his eyes filled with a pain so deep it took my breath away. "He's going to start a war," I said, my voice a choked whisper. Dominic nodded, his jaw tight. "He's going to try. And he has every right to be angry. I would be too if I were in his shoes. I have a son too. I can't imagine losing Liam. I can't imagine the pain he's going through right now." He was right. Johnathan had a right to be angry, but that didn't make it any less terrifying.
