It starts to rain the minute we get out of the car and so we run to the mall quickly so as to not get wet.
Elias opens the door for me, removing an imaginary hat like the men from the 70’s.
I giggle and walk in pretending to be in a musical. He holds my hand and smiles like he used to when we were dating.
“You know you look really beautiful when you laugh” he says looking down from his towering height.
I smile back “thank you”.
“Hello beautiful couple, would you like to buy some beautiful dresses?” A lady appears before us with a wide commercial smile on her face.
“Uh we're not-”
“Yes we would, let's get your best dresses” Elias interjects and I glare at him.
“Right this way sir” she leads us to a*****e right at the corner.
