“Hey hold up, what about breakfast?” Clifford suddenly calls out stopping me on my tracks.
“Uh we'll just grab a takeout” I reply.
“Nonsense” Clifford “what's a takeout to a homemade meal? You and your boyfriend should definitely have breakfast with us”
“Boyfriend?” Elias whispers. His gaze shifting towards me “You have told them have you?”
I shake my head nervously “No…I haven't had the time”
“I guess that's fair, we can't keep them waiting…girlfriend”
My eyes flutter towards Caden who's still looking at us. At Elias with hateful eyes and I hold him tighter.
“Of course”
“Ivy why don't you go make breakfast, they say a way to a man's heart is his belly” mom teasingly.
“Oh okay…”
Elias goes to take a seat at the dinning table and Caden follows behind.
I go to the kitchen and
