I looked at Alpha Thorne and his daughter standing before me, making no effort to hide my contempt.
I'd known the truth for weeks now. Giselle had told me everything—how they'd tried to kill Sera, how they'd treated her like she was nothing. Less than nothing. A burden they wanted gone.
