Josiah One half of the fourth floor of the Prosperity Springs Hospital was a psychiatric wing. The entire unit was locked at all times, and only staff with badge access and a code could open the doors. Otherwise, visitors had to be buzzed in by the nursing staff and pass through an antechamber before they could get to the patient-care area. From there, the unit formed a cross. The patients of low acuity were in rooms down the center, patients needing extra supervision were down the hall to the right, and on the left was the “East Wing” -- the high security lock down.
