Tori and I were full of laughs as we entered the living room. We paused in surprise, seeing Mum and Alera seated on the sofa, each with a mug of tea.
"Welcome home, dear." Mum smiled..
"..Thanks." I nodded hesitantly.
I faced Alera who smiled casually as she sipped from her mug.
"Alpha Kent," she greeted.
"Alera." I returned her greeting with a nod. Tori just gaped at the scene.
"So." I turned to faced Mum. "You guys are what? Tea buddies now?"
Mum and Alera laughed hysterically.
"This is a herbal tea," Mum replied. "Alera made it and must say I'm impressed. It soothes the body in and out and makes you relax. You should try it."
