I glance over Bailee’s shoulder to find a heavily pregnant she wolf staring at us both, her mouth hanging open as her gaze flickers from me to Bailee and back again.
‘Lee’ Bailee says, reaching out for the woman, ‘it’s not what you think . . ‘
The woman who I now notice has a resemblance to the she wolf in front of me growls, crossing her arms over her chest. ‘Really?’ she demands, ‘so I did not just see you trying to suck the face off this halfling?’
