I glance up from the book I’m reading as the now familiar creak of the door to the dungeons sounds above me.
Seconds later, the Alpha of Diamond Star appears beside my cell door, the key in his hand.
‘You letting me go Alpha?’ I ask in surprise, eyeing the key suspiciously.
Caden laughs as he slides the key into the lock, swinging the door open without so much as a grimace from the silver. ‘Let’s not pretend that you are actually a prisoner here’ he replies, stepping back and waving a hand, urging me to leave the ten by twelve space I’ve been calling home. ‘I actually wondered if you fancied a change of scenery, maybe some fresh air, time to stretch your legs?’
