Chapter 78
Tanner’s POV
We made our plans and we exited the meeting room to go and grab some food really quickly, but I am too wound up to eat. I am so worried about Gabi, and I have to stop myself from wondering what they have done to her. Heath is with me when I get a mind link from Gabi. I grab Heath’s arm and motion back to the meeting room with my head and we head back to talk in the soundproof room.
She was OK, they didn’t hurt her, and she is actually on her way right now. They kept their word, and I relaxed as I heard her talk. I relayed what she said to me to Heath, and he is furious. This could have ALL been avoided by just allowing him to accept the rejection, but Alpha Lowell believed that Piper would get weaker with receiving it.
